    Bring your camera!! The High School Swing Vocal Group will encourage everyone to get into the holiday spirit by singing holiday songs.  Also, Holiday Basket Raffle!

    Welcome from IFOA

    Welcome Back! As we start this new school year, we hope that our Islip Families will support us with their membership! Membership is $10 per family. We will see you at Meet The Teacher Night at your child’s school and please check out our great basket raffle, THE ANNUAL BIG RAFFLE, in the lobby that night. We depend on your support to be able to recognize almost 200 students in grades 4 – 12 for their acomplishments in Music and Art each year.

    Our first meeting this year is Wednesday, October 12, 7:30PM, High School Community Room. Please join us! We need families to be involved with Islip Friends of the Arts to accomplish our goals!

    You will find important, timely information regarding Music and Art at the website: http://islipfpa.net (Islip Department of Fine and Performing Arts) Right now, there is a link to the list of Islip High School Seniors who received scholarships from IFOA, and you can read a little about each of them.

    IFOA Radio City Spectacular 2011

    radio2Islip Friends of The Arts is presently planning their trip to the Christmas Spectacular at Radio City. The trip is on Friday, November 11, 2010 to see the show. This is a great family day and you can’t beat the price! — please note that there are no chaperones, so students may not attend without an accompanying adult.

    Blue Note Cafe and My Favorite Things

    THIS SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 4, 2012

    MY FAVORITE THINGS (6:30pm) showcasing the finest pieces of Art created by our students K-12 this year. Located in the High School Auditorium Lobby (north doors). Admission in FREE

    THE BLUE NOTE CAFE (7:30pm) celebrating the musical talents of Swing & Islip High School Jazz Band. Located in the High School Cafeteria (north doors). EVERYONE IS WELCOME! Admission for the Blue Note Cafe is $8 adults/ $6 Senior Citizens and students. This includes continuous beverage and dessert bar and first class entertainment! Doors open at 7pm to allow you to choose your table and be seated before the show begins!

    There will be a Basket Raffle throughout the evening in the lobby – winners will be drawn at the end of the evening.
    You do not have to be present to win! PLEASE JOIN US!
