CRES Mosaic Project

Inspired by subway mosaic tile artists such as Squire Vickers, Commack Road Elementary Students created a porcelain tile mosaic for their cafeteria. After much discussion on what they wanted to say with their art, students thought it would be important to remind each other to be kind and friendly. Friendship was the theme for this permanent artwork and more character education based work is planned to be created this year.
